Barolo DOCG Barolo is a delicious red wine from the town of the same name in Italy’s northern Piedmont region.
Piedmont (or Piemonte in Italian) lies in the shadow of the snow-capped Alps and is one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.
Barolo must be 100% Nebbiolo, a quality grape variety named after the famous fog (or “nebbia” in Italian).
100% Nebbiolo VINEYARDS GASTRONOMIC ASSORTIMENTS Perfect with risoto and meat dishes This wine comes from the Montefantino estate. Domaine Montefantino ‘s vineyards cover around 25 hectares in 4 communes: Clavesana, Dogliani, Rocca Cigliè and Bastia Mondovì, between 400 and 600 m.
Our grapes are born here on medium-textured soils ranging from clay to silt.
Their exposure, agronomic management and constant commitment produce wines that tell the story of our territory’s tradition.
Among the rows, there’s a space for international grape varieties that are indigenous grapes, the real focus of our work to enhance the value of the Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Barbera varieties.
We’ve always tried to find the right balance between agricultural work and the environment, in order to maintain the land as much as possible.
